Know which fruits you can share with your pup and which to avoid

We are all tempted to give our fur babies just a little taste when they give us those eyes! However, not all human foods – even fruits are a good choice for dogs and some can actually be toxic. Judging by the number of searches on Google for “can my dog eat ,” it can be a bit confusing for pet parents. We’ve put together this guide on safe summer fruits for dogs. Please note: some foods may be safe when given in one form but can be dangerous in another form — such as when the skin, pits, seeds, or core is eaten. For instance, small quantities of raw, fresh pineapple flesh is ok, but the core can cause an obstruction. Giving them canned pineapple comes with processed sugars, which can do a number on their gut.
